A much-needed update to a logo created in 2003. In this case the client asked for something "generic" and "ubiquitous." Since this facility is located in Dayton, I referenced the multiple rivers flowing through the city (and Ohio).
David liked the arrow and the general organization of his logo, but felt it looked a little outdated. My solution was to simplify the arrow, balance the spacing of the type, and reset the type in Didot. This new version is simple, elegant, and classic.
